1. Ayesha Takia – Farhan Azmi

Ayesha Takia a hot, sexy and cute Bollywood actress got married to her boyfriend Farhan Azmi who is a restaurateur and a politician son. The couple got married in the year March 1,2009.The marriage was in a typical Islmaic Nikaah ceremony.

2. Sharmila Tagore


Sharmila Tagore began her career as a Bengali film actress. She married Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the Nawab of Pataudi and former captain of the Indian cricket team. Their Nikkah ceremony held on 27 December 1969. Sharmila converted to Islam and she is also known as Begum Ayesha Sultana. Mansoor Ali Khan, died on September 22, 2011 from respiratory failure at age 70 after 41 years of marriage.

3. Nargis Dutt – Sunil Dutt


Nargis Dutt, the yesteryear heartthrob did not let that affect her choice when it came to love. Nargis married actor Sunil Dutt and converted to Hinduism from Muslim. She also changed her name to Nirmala Dutt. The couple married on 11 March 1958 and had three children together- Sanjay, Namrata, and Priya.

4. Amrita Singh


Amrita Singh was born to a Sikh family, raised as a Sikh. She married to actor Saif Ali Khan in an Islamic wedding ceremony and converted to Islam before marriage in the year 1991. They have two children, a daughter named Sara Ali Khan and a son named Ibrahim Ali Khan. But after thirteen years of marriage, they divorced in the year 2004.

5. Nagma


South Indian actress, Nagma is better known for her roles in Telugu and Tamil movies. Being a Hindu she converted to Christianity for her love of God, Jesus Christ. This is was although not about love for men, but a love of God. In an interview, once she said,”Jesus Christ was the only superstar in her life and that she wanted to preach and spread the Gospel to every town and city the Lord takes her to.”

6. Dharmendra


The actor, who was married to Prakash Kaur and in love with Hema Malini at the same time, was in a dilemma when the former refused to divorce him. So Dharmendra converted to Islam and changed his name to Dilawar Khan to marry Hema, making her his second wife. The heart wants what the heart wants. Sigh!
